Brudenell Cottage
Robin Hoods Bay is one of the most picturesque villages on the
English coastline. The bay is breathtaking and the old village,
with its quaint cottages and fascinating history of smuggling, is
absolutely delightful. `Brudenell Cottage' dates back to 1732. It is situated on Chapel Street, a quaint walkway right in the heart of the old village and only a few hundred yards from the beach. It has been renovated to a high standard and has a cosy lounge with open fire, original features and beamed ceilings and the added benefit of an enclosed south facing patio garden with BBQ. (a garden is a rare find in Robin Hoods Bay).

The village offers shops, tea rooms, pubs and bistros.
Robin Hoods Bay is on the route of the Cleveland Way and also the finish point for the Coast to Coast walk, so there are plenty of
beautiful walks right from your doorstep. The area also offers plenty of other activities such as pony trekking, cycling on a long stretch of disused railway (cycle hire available locally), golf at Whitby golf course (only about 4 miles away), the steam preservation railway on the North Yorkshire Moors and beautiful Esk Valley ('Heartbeat' country). There's plenty to do if you so wish or simply relax and enjoy the beach and beautiful surroundings of the old village.
